What is your specialty? "I love cutting layers in long hair, customizing color for brunettes, blondes & redheads and giving a great blowout! I am also a great listener."

What do you love most about what you do? "Behind the chair I love helping people look and feel beautiful. I truly believe we have the best profession on the planet! We get to make someone's day just by being creative and doing great hair. I love spending time with all of my guests and creating relationships with them. As an owner, I love continuing to learn and grow for my team while providing a creative and warm space for them to follow their dreams and reach their goals."

What is something most people don't know about you? "My sister, Loren, is one of my business partners and we have worked together for over 15 years! (She is also my best friend.) I am a Harry Potter fanatic and I love any movie with Nicolas Cage!"

What do you enjoy doing in your free time? "I love spending time with my husband and 2 beautiful daughters. I enjoy having a glass of wine with my girlfriends, traveling when I can and I LOVE to dance!"

Ryan has been in the industry for 18 years and his specialties include men’s cutting, barbering, tapers and fades but also has a passion for women’s cut and color. He traveled the Midwest as an Artistic Educator for Profound Beauty and also spent a few years as a Platform Artist for Bioionic, performing at America’s Beauty Show each year in Chicago.  Ryan had the opportunity to shadow several mentors in high-caliber settings, including editorial spreads, photo shoots, and New York Fashion Week events—from which he has developed an admirable work ethic, and drawn inspiration to create his own artistic vision. He spent additional time in New York with Yves Durif learning precision bobs and cutting and has also has attended editorial hair styling classes with Vivian Mackinder.  As an artist Ryan couldn’t imagine himself doing anything else career wise, he feels blessed to be able to express his creativity every day.
